At Animal Cwtch, we don’t just care for animals — we care about the world they live in.That’s why we’ve launched the Bee & Wildflower Project: a simple but powerful way to protect pollinators, grow vibrant habitats, and show that small hands can make a big difference.Every time you book an Animal Cwtch party or school session, each child will receive a mini wildflower seed pack — a little gift that grows into something magical. Bright blooms for bees. Real-world conservation for kids.

🐝 Why Bees Matter!
Bees are tiny heroes — pollinating one-third of the food we eat and keeping ecosystems in balance. But across the UK, their numbers are in serious decline.
🌼 97% of UK wildflower meadows have disappeared
🐝 Many native bee species are now threatened
🍎 No bees = less fruit, fewer flowers, and broken food chains
By planting wildflowers, we help bees thrive — and that helps everything else.
🌱 How It Works?
Each wildflower seed pack is easy to use and made for UK pollinators.
🧾 What’s Inside?
A seasonal mix of UK native wildflowers – safe, bee-friendly, and full of colour.
📍 Where to Plant:
Garden borders, window boxes, or school spaces
Sunny patches (avoid lawns or places that get mowed)
Always ask before planting in public or shared areas!
🗓️ When to Plant:
Spring (March–May) or Autumn (Sept–Oct)
Scatter onto bare soil and gently press in — no digging needed!
💦 Aftercare:
Water in dry spells
Let nature take over
🌼Watch for shoots, flowers… and bees!
